Pierre Lanith Petit
1832–1909

Fotografo frances nacido en la Provenza cuyos primeros pasos fueron en el estudio fotografico del especialista en las cartas fotograficas de visita. En asociacion con el fotógrafo Trinquart fundan la casa Photographie des Deux Mondes donde fotografian a la elite artistica de Paris.
Fué nombrado fotografo oficial de las ordenes religiosas y de la exposicion universal de Paris aparte de ser tambien fotografo de la facultad de medicina.
Tambien es recordado por la amplia documentacion fotografica de el levantamiento de la comuna.

Photographe français né en Provence dont les premières étapes ont été dans l'étude photographique du spécialiste en cartes de cartes photo. En partenariat avec le photographe a trouvé la maison Trinquart Photographie des Deux Mondes, où il a photographié l'élite artistique de Paris.
Il a été nommé photographe officiel des ordres religieux et de l'Exposition Universelle de Paris en plus d'être un photographe de l'école de médecine.
Il est également connu pour l'abondante documentation photographique de la montée de la commune.

French photographer born in Provence whose first steps were in the photographic study of the specialist in photo cards cards. In partnership with the photographer found the house Trinquart Photographie des Deux Mondes where he photographed the artistic elite of Paris.
He was appointed official photographer of the religious orders and the Universal Exhibition in Paris in addition to being a photographer of the medical school.
He is also remembered for the extensive photographic documentation of the rise of the commune.
